We are looking for at least two (2) officers from each platoon who are interested in becoming shop stewards.  In order to be considered, we are

looking for officers who have not had any disciplinary actions against them in the last six (6) months.

 

These highly motivated officers should be willing to devote their time in the following areas:

 

1. Assisting officers with grievances.

2. Assisting officers with Internal Affairs (IA) interviews and

investigations.

3. Assisting with the research of policies, rules, General Orders (GO) and

regulations.

4. Assisting with negotiations of old and new policies.

5. Assist with updating officers on upcoming and new policies and

regulations.

6. AND MUCH MORE!

 

We are looking for people who are devoted in helping others and in helping us make a difference. If you are a team player and you would like to be part of the solution please consider the position of a shop steward.  If you are interested or you need more information on the position please

contact me, the Secretary, the Chief Shop Steward or any other board member. You can access our information in the "Labor Committee Board" located in the roll-call room, on the board outside the ladies locker room, or inside the men locker room (T&E) exit door.
